Xiaomi unveils new foldable as Apple readies its first foldable iPhone

With just days away from the long-rumored launch of Apple's first foldable iPhone, Xiaomi has decided to announce a new foldable, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, in four colors: Black, Warm Gold-White, Cabernet Red, and a Ceramic Special Edition in "Pale Pink Glaze."

The outer screen comes in at 5.3 inches, protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 3.0, while the inner screen is a 7.58-inch, 2364 x 1672 AMOLED, that rests on a "new-generation" IP58/IP59-certified Xiaomi Dragon Bone hinge. Both screens are 120Hz and can go up to 4,000 nits in brightness.

I seen some blogger (English lady) in China and she was showing the Huawei and Xiaomi foldable phones, they're streets ahead of anything that apple has, one of them was a 3 fold phone, basically became a tablet from a phone. Incredible, and the prices were miniscule in comparison to what we'd have to pay in the west.

Im not interested in the foldable technologies, they just don't make sense to me. And I think Apple is going to flop with their £2000 foldable phone, whilst I am a big apple fan, they've lost their way over the last few years, little innovation imo.
