Type intl.cpl into the search bar and hit enter.
Click Additional Settings.
Click Date tab.
Change the short date to: ddd dd/MM/yyyy
Apply.
Job done!
You can also access it via the control panel -> Clock & Region -> Region (Change date, time or number formats)
