Manager Derek McInnes admitted Rangers are "not ready" to compete at Europa League level.

The Ibrox side drew the second leg of their third qualifying round tie against Jagiellonia Bialystok 1-1 at Ibrox, but crashed out 3-2 on aggregate.

It is their earliest exit from the competition since 2017, as McInnes' winless start as manager of the Ibrox side stretched to four games.
 
The rangers appointment of Derek McInnes will be the making or downfall of him although i think it was the right decision by both Rangers and McInnes to appoint him
he is already a successful manager in Scottish football BUT if he is unsuccessful at Rangers then he will be considered by Rangers fans and others as a failure .
I think he's in a no win situation. but time will tell.
as a Celtic fan I wish him all the best (and Rangers), Scottish football needs Rangers and Celtic in order to flourish.
But we will still be the Champs Again...lol..

seems to me a going backwards decision just like Celtic and Martin O'Neill. Im not a believer in old managers coming back I think they are panic Decisions that we end up living to regret

Rangers have signed Kevin Kelsy from Portland Timbers in a deal worth £9m with winger Badredine Bouanani joining on loan from Stuttgart.

Kelsy has joined on an initial four-year deal with the option for a further year.

Bouanani was the Ibrox club's final summer addition after passing a medical.

There is an option to buy included in the loan for the 21-year-old Algerian international who moved to Germany last year from Nice and has scored two goals and provided two assists for Stuttgart.

Nico Raskin remains at Ibrox after the club rejected bids from Besiktas.
