There are some code generator methods for unlocking / calculating forgotten radio / stereo codes for various radio manufacturers, including:

• BlauPunkt
• Bosch
• Ford
• Grundig
• Philips
• Renault

Where possible, there are knowledgeable forum members who can try to get your code for free.

A photograph of the radio labels would be ideal, or by providing details of the radio;

• Make / model
• Serial number

Alternatively, if the code can not be calculated using this method the code can be found from providing the radio;

• eeprom dump file, or
• FIS file
• MCU file

Please start a thread for each new request and include the make / model in the subject line.

Remember, that radio unlock codes can not always be calculated using these methods. The other paid alternatives are to use a web service (Google is your friend here!!) or go to a vehicle main dealer.
