Motorway Car Sales

Any body had any experience with this way of selling there car, I believe you tend to get a better deal generally using this system. ?
I am waiting for my new car to arrive, when talking to the dealership he suggested these as I would get a better deal than he could give me.
I certainly wasn't inspired by the price he offered me on my 3 year old car ...

Any feed back would be nice ....

No used them personally but i did look at prices when changing my car. What i understand is that it works with car dealers to offer you the best prices but then the dealers they come out and value your car and this is when they knock you down.

I know a couple of people who've had this experience with Motorway. They weren't happy!

I tried them last month. Said they'd get me £5.5k for my trade-in. After their auction they said the best price they could give me was £4.4k & that was before whoever collected it (trader) deducted money for every 'defect' I neglected to mention or they couldn't see from the photos. I declined since I was disappointed in the big difference between what they said I'd get + their best offer.
