Kids audio books advice please

Hi Guys,
I need all the help I can get to get the kids to bed on time ;) and so now its audio books (and yes before anyone asks we do read them stories at bed time also...)

Im not being tight but not realy prepared to sign up to Audible as its 2 Alexa's which I dont think this supports but what I have stumled across is MyMedia for Alexa which seems pretty good (unless someone else has a suggestion\better approach) My Media

Anyway I digress :) what Im trying to find is a good selection of kids Audio books such as Rold Dahl and Disney stuff which I can then play on their Alexas - does anyone have a way to get stuff from Audible (I guess I could capture from YouTube) or some good sites to download these from and then I can work out how to get them to play :)

Thanks!

So, i've had a similar experience, and we were using a 3rd party app on the alexa to play audiobooks that we had...

Code:
 https://audiobookbay.lu/

I don't remember the app we were using for it though, and it stopped working all of a sudden for some reason :/. Your app looks decent though, but I presume you've got some media server to run this on.

I think you can integrate dropbox or some cloud based storage solution for this My Media (Im just starting to look at it) but yes I have a PC which is pretty much on all of the time so I would just look to sync with that. From what I gather Plex isnt supported anymore - and I used to integrate Plex with Alexa to get the normal music bit working but it was always a faff and never really got what I wanted it to do so I gave up - and as you realise with Spotify integration you dont have to download so the random songs my girls come up with are always there :D

Also with these cheaper Spotify accounts you can buy I dont mind spending a little bit of money but not really prepared to spend the normal £13 a month or what ever it is.

I integrated with dropbox, I likely still have loads of books on there that I can't play :/

Sound stream I think was the app I was using via alexa, I was paying for the premium version too, that's what got me when it all stopped working. Messaged the dev, and he said it was working fine. But I couldn't play anything.
