Internet rabbit holes

There surely is good and bad sides to the Internet, but one thing is for sure it is great for helping you go down rabbit holes to find that bit of info that pops in your head and starts driving you mad.
Earlier tonight I was watching a youtuber over in Ibiza who was going to watch Fat boy slim perform at some pub. This got me wondering what band he used to be in.....Internet to the rescue "The House Martins". This should of been the end of it, until I start thinking to myself, what was that song they did, all I could remember was Da,da,da,da,da,da don't believe her. After driving me mad for a while, I finaly remembered a couple of the opening Lyrics, which turned out to be close enough for Google, I put, It's a good place to be, and finally arrived at Happy hour. The Earworm is now sorted, The 1980's has a lot to answer for, I drank way to much beer for one. Enjoy, and why not add your own.

Indeed, FBS was in the house martins, and he was also very famous before he was "famous", Cook also remixed some other tracks, and released other tracks under different pseudonyms.

Beats international - Dub be good to me; The track that is played by the majority of the radio stations (Heart dance/Kisstory) is the norman cook remix.

Pizzaman - Happiness sets you free; Was cook under a different name releasing tracks.

Other cook titles listed in the comments of the above track.

There's probably loads more too, but they're the 2 that I know and relate too the most. Dub be good to me, being something from my childhood, and probably my favourite track of all time.

Any time I hear or see Fatboy Slim or his name mentioned it always takes me make to the 80’s and The Housemartins. My favourite two songs by them are Happy Hour and Caravan Love.

I love it when you go on YouTube for the thing you was looking for and as you are playing it you see something on the right panel, click on that, then again and again, now you are deep in the Rabbit hole miles off from where you started lol
but have found many great singers/bands I've never heard of like 2yrs ago I found Beluga Lagoon

Dub be good to me, takes me back to youth club days
my late teen's crush has to be Wendy James I bought all her singles, 12" and posters

About 10/15yrs or so I found The Walkmen, Michael Kiwanuka, Trampled by Turtles and many more

My first song I heard by Michael Kiwanuka and one of my favourites >>>

Haven’t listened to the Home again album in a while. I remember when he won the well deserved BBC newcomer award back in 2012.
Great musician tbh.
Discovered Teddy Swims, The Teskey Brothers and The Main Squeeze on YouTube. All worth a listen imo.
