Google says services are recovering for "most workloads" after problems with its Cloud service affected banks, other businesses, and courts
Revolut, Halifax, HSBC, delivery service DPD , and e-bike service Forest were among the businesses affected.
Elsewhere, the courts service said its video links were affected - the Criminal Bar Association said earlier that prosecution and defence barristers in England and Wales could not "proceed with trials and other hearings".
Google says the problem was caused by a "power event" at a London data centre.
In a fresh update, Google says the issue has been "mitigated for most of the customers" affected.
But the issue is currently still affecting "a very small number of customers", it says.
The company adds that its engineering team is working to resolve the issue, and it will publish an analysis of the incident once it has completed an internal investigation.
