Some Quest 2 users are unable to connect to Wi-Fi after updating to Horizon v2.6.
A fix is now available.
To download the fix, temporarily connect your Quest 2 to a mobile hotspot and follow the steps below.
Before you begin: Using a mobile hotspot may use data from your mobile plan and could result in additional charges. Check your mobile plan before proceeding.

To download the fix, temporarily connect your Quest 2 to a mobile hotspot and follow the steps below.
Before you begin: Using a mobile hotspot may use data from your mobile plan and could result in additional charges. Check your mobile plan before proceeding.
Steps:
- Turn on the mobile hotspot on your phone.
- On your Quest 2, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to the mobile hotspot.
- Confirm that your headset is connected to the internet.
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Check for the latest software update (v2.6 build dated July 24, 2026 or later).
- Apply the update.
- Your headset will restart and install the new software. This may take a few minutes.
- Once the update is complete, go to Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Select the Wi-Fi network you were previously connected to.
- Confirm that your headset connects successfully to your Wi-Fi network.
