Firestick with no update mod

By mistake i deregistered my Firestick from my Amazon account. I thought I'd have to reset it and re register it for it to work, messing up the mod etc.
But no!, it just came back on after being switched off and back on.

That's a bit worrying really. Once you'd deregistered the Fire Stick from your Amazon account, I'd have expected it to require registering again. If you'd sold it or given it to someone else, you'd also want to be certain that apps weren't still logged in with your details.

Yes only de-registered removes the account if not reset all the apps already installed stay

good to know but I've never registered one with my own details and hate paying for anything what you can get for free

Just for the record, every few minutes a login screen popped up, but once logged in, everything ok.
