Playing games with your friends and family is about to get much easier, even when you're all in different places.
Remote Play is coming to Amazon Luna, the company's cloud gaming service letting you invite up to seven other people to join a multiplayer session. People added to the multiplayer game won't need their own Prime or Luna Premium subscription, so it won't cost them anything to jump online and join a quick game with you.
For those who don't know, Luna lets you stream games over the internet without a console or any large files to download. Prime members get access to some games with their subscription, while the dedicated Luna Premium subscription offers a much larger library.
You'll find Remote Play inside Luna's navigation menu, where you can send invites to friends and family. All they need is an Amazon account and a compatible device, with no downloads or additional fees required.
You can then host a game session, generate a code, and send it to family and friends to begin playing.
